AppCentrix expands into Middle East signing ExtraHop distribution agreement

South African ICT services company AppCentrix has signed a distribution agreement in the Middle East indicating its expansion.

ExtraHop, the company involved, specialises in real-time IT analytics for network performance management and security and is relied upon by AppCentrix – among other leading monitoring technologies – to provide the platform for its real-time analytics of networks, applications, video and voice systems.

As well as utilising ExtraHop’s solutions within its own security operations centre (SOC), AppCentrix will use its distributor status to offer all solutions within the vendor’s portfolio to customers across the Middle East, including ExtraHop Reveal(x), the vendor’s latest network security analytics product.

ExtraHop entering into a strategic partnership with AppCentrix for the Middle East will mean building on the region’s growing need for robust cybersecurity solutions using its subscription-based managed services model that equally drives strategic decision making by delivering data analysis for management insight. It comes at a time when managed security services have been gaining steady traction in the Middle East.

ExtraHop will provide intelligent products that deliver real-time visibility of the network for business, security and IT, giving real-time visibility. The company has put forward its three-year plan for the Middle East, which looks at establishing a firm regional foothold in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and working with leading local systems integrators and their customers to deliver real-time value through the managed services model.

Government agencies, financial institutions, service providers and oil & gas organisations continue to benefit from application performance management and security provided by AppCentrix.

ExtraHop has customers across the globe from sectors including healthcare, banking, tech, and education
