DroneShield’s products (DroneGun, DroneSentry and DroneSentinel) have been approved for inclusion in the 2019 Australian Military Sales Catalogue, maintained by AMS (Australian Military Sales), a Directorate within the Australian Government’s Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group.
The role of AMS is to support Australian sovereign capability and military sales programs through initiatives. This includes international Government-to-Government purchase of Australian origin, sensitive technology, defence articles and supporting Australian defence industry to export to foreign government customers.
AMS reportedly supports Australian defence industry to export leading–edge capability solutions to foreign government customers. By leveraging relationships across the military diplomatic community, AMS provides opportunities for Australian defence industries to utilise the Australian government’s network of national and international military partners to identify sales opportunities thereby improving and enhancing the promotion and export of products and capabilities.
The purpose of the Australian Military Sales Catalogue is to inform potential foreign government customers of Australian defence equipment and of Australian defence industry products and services available under international government to government arrangements.
“DroneShield is grateful for continued substantial support for its global sales from the Australian Government, through its earlier announced Defence Export Strategy,” said Oleg Vornik, DroneShield’s CEO. “Through the Military Sales Catalogue, defence trade show hosting with Team Defence Australia, and the incredible assistance we receive from the Australian embassies globally, we are excited to continue delivering on our strategy of being an Australian headquartered global leader in drone countermeasures.”
