SecurityMiddleEast.com is a product of Security Media Publishing that was launched in April 2014. The site is a news and product information portal for the entire security industry, focussed specifically on news from and about the Middle East. The site covers everything from company news and products to legislation, regulation and best practice in the region.

SecurityMiddleEast is for security managers, security guards, system installers and sales people based in the Middle East or seeking to learn more about the region. It’s for manufacturers, entrepreneurs, consultants and police officers. In short, it’s for anyone who cares about how we make our world more secure and who needs the latest information about operating in the Middle East. SecurityMiddleEast has an average of over 30,000 unique visitors to the site and our eNewsletter’s reach an opt-in database of over 37,500.

Frank Kirk BA (Hons) M.Sc, Chairman & Managing Director

frank-picture120x120Frank has held senior management positions in the Security Industry for over 30 years within the UK and the International Security Arena; he brings to the company many years of practical experience and a sound working knowledge of Good Business Principles.

Frank’s approach to business is both practical and straight forward, for those of you in the industry who have worked with Frank in the past, you will no doubt remember his managerial skills are always progressive, backed with enthusiasm and he encourages his people at all levels to excel; Frank’s style is to build Teams, and his motto is “You don’t build businesses, you build the people, because the people are the business.”

Peter Mawson, Publishing Director

petePeter is the driving force behind Security Media’s relationship management and is a seasoned business development and media professional with over 15 years experience in media and commerce. From a career that began in the music industry in the UK, Peter has worked to grow bands, magazines, and businesses. Over the last 15 years in the security sector he has developed high profile initiatives and worked behind the scenes with key clients to expand markets. Clients like Sony, Panasonic, JVC, and Tyco (among many others) have collaborated to achieve their business objectives. Peter is also a member of the Company of Security Professionals whose aims are to create and nurture a culture that secures the principles which protect people, property and liberty.

Fran Seden, Sub Editor

fran sndAs Sub Editor, Fran writes and oversees the output on SecurityNewsDesk.com and SecurityMiddleEast.com, as well as collating the Security News Desk Newspaper. Fran is new to the security industry but has a keen interest in geopolitics and technology, along with experience as online editor for a B2B retail industry publisher. With a passion for writing and a love of SEO, she helps drive Security Media Publishing’s official Google Publisher status and is the go-to girl for editorial queries.

Matthew Bull, Business Development Manager

Matthew, the Business Development Manager at Security Media Publishing, is responsible for bringing in new clients as well as developing existing accounts. With a background in journalism and PR, Matthew began his sales career at Security Media Publishing in August 2015 and is enjoying learning more about the security industry every day. He advises clients on the best way they can spread their message and maximise the budget they have available.

Sam Copper, Media Production Technician

Sam, the Media Production Technician at Security Media Publishing, handles the publishing of press releases to SecurityNewsDesk.com and SecurityMiddleEast.com, he also creates eNewsletters and eBroadcasts and releases them to our subscriber base. Sam joined us as an apprentice and having developed his role significantly is now a fully fledged employee, joining us as a full time Media Production Technician in June 2016.
